The company was established in 1852. Walter Morley does not list any stamps from this company.
"PARCEL STAMP", the year "1853" probably
refers to the year the company was established and not the year
of the issue of the stamp. I've also seen a 2 p brown in this
design. The design is rather similar to the stamps of the London
North Western Railway Company.
1913(?) I've also seen 1 Sh blue. The London, Midland and
Scottisch Railway and the London and North Western Railway issued
stamps in a similar design.
1875 issue; the values 1 p black on green, 2 p black on red, 3 p
black on blue and 4 p black on grey exist.
1880 issue. Black on yellow with green control stripe. Printed in
sheets of 20.
"PREPAID PARCEL FROM", the townname is different here
Leek and Macclesfield. I've also seen the towns Congleton, Derby,
Egginton, and Uttoxeter. I've seen the values 1 p, 2 p, 3 p, 4 p,
5 p, 6 p, 7 p, 9 p, 10 p, 11 p, 1 Sh (all in red).
Walter Morley only lists one stamp for this railway company:
No value, black on lilac with green control line "1
Newspaper only".
The Pembroke & Tenby Railway was taken over by the Great Western Railway in 1896.
1890 "NOT EXCEEDING 1 lb.", and "NOT EXCEEDING 1
1/2 lbs." a similar label in black on blue should exist with
"NOT EXCEEDING 3 lbs."
Possibly unique label from 1870, image obtained from:

No value "FOR ONE Newspaper only"; and another one with
"FOR TWO Newspapers".
This company was established in 1885 and jointly owned by several other railways.
Issued somewhere around 1914(?). I've also seen a 7 p violet with
the townname "STRANRAER." at the bottom.
1880 issue. In this design, I have seen 1/2 p (smaller size), 1
p, 2 p, 3 p, 6 p (all in brown).
The Rhymney Railway was opened in 1858. In 1922 it joined the Great Western Railway.
1 p black on yellow, 2 p green and 3 p violet; are these the
stamps described in Walter Morley?
A much larger 2 p blue
Only a 1 p blue is listed in Walter Morley. Also a smaller sized
1 d stamp in a slightly different design.
Labels with "R.H.& D. RLY. Parcels and Luggage
Ticket", here on a letter 1 p black. I have also seen 2 p, 3
p, 4 p, 6 p, 9 p, 1 Sh, 1 Sh 6 p, 2 Sh 6 p, 5 Sh, all in black.
A black on yellow stamp with no value indicated should exist according to Walter Morley.
1868 issue; most likely 3 of the 5 stamps listed in Walter
Morley.
A 1 p black newspaper parcel stamp is recorded in Walter Morley's catalogue. I have not seen it.
1/2 p black on lilac "PREPAID NEWSPAPER PARCEL"
"S.D.R. Newpaper Parcel" 1 p black, not listed by
Walter Morley.
One of the 'big four' railways formed in 1923.
Here a "SOUTHERN RLY" label (1 Sh black) pasted
together with a "L.&S.W.RLY." label of 8 p black in
the same design.
"SOUTHERN RAILWAY CHARGED AT NEWSPAPER SCALE": 2 p red.
Walter Morley does not list any stamps for this company, since this company was only founded in 1909 (Morley only lists stamps before 1897).
1 p blue. A 1/2 p red also exists.
Labels with "NEWSPAPER PARCEL" and the signature of the Traffic Manager; F.Marwood (1868-1879), Edwin E.Page (or Edwin Wagh as Walter Morley mentions?), G.Robertson, J.G.Nicholson, J.Jones (1888-1896), H.Clarke (1887-1900), E.Edwards (1901-1912), Thomas A.Walker (1913-1922).
1865 design:
"Edwin E.Page" 'traffic manager' signature; with this
signature exist: 1/2 p black on green, 1 p black, 2 p black on
blue, 3 p black on lilac, 6 p black on yellow.
With signature "G.Robertson", Morley only mentions a
1/2 p black on green (not this 2 p black on blue). Inscription
now "Secretary"
With "J.Jones" signature. With this signature exist: 1
p black, 2 p black on blue, 3 p black on lilac.
With "E.Edwards" signature, I have only seen the 3 p
black on lilac.
"H.Clarke" signature, I have seen the values 1 p black,
2 p black on green, 3 p black on lilac.
"Thomas A.Walker" secretary signature, I have only seen
2 p black on green.
Stamps with inscription "T.G.RYS NEWSPAPER STAMP" or "T.G. RAILWAYS Parcels Ticket." are railway stamps from Tasmania.
"PREPAID NEWSPAPER PARCEL lbs 3"; this migh be an
essay?
A 2 p blue was supposed to have been issued for the Waterford and Limerick Railway according to Walter Morley, I have never seen an image though.
"WC&PL RLY" 2 p black on yellow ("NEWPAPER
PARCEL") and 4 p black on lilac ("PARCELS
TICKET").
"FOR ONE NEWSPAPER", black on yellow, no value
indicated.
This company was established in 1878.
