Many Scottish Railway companies used a similar design from
1914(?) to 1923 for their parcel stamps. Some of them have
vertical lines in the bottom part. I've seen:
Caledonian Railway,
Dumbarton & Balloch Joint Line,
Knott End Railway,
Cockermouth, Keswick & Penrith Railway,
Dundee and Arbroath Joint Railway,
Glasgow, Barrhead & Kimarnock Joint Railway (GB&K),
Glasgow & South Western Railway (G&SW),
London Midland and Scottish Railway (LM&S),
London & North Eastern Railway (L&NE)
Maryport & Carlisle Railway,
North British Railway and P.P.&W Railway.
Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Joint Railways (PP&W)
It seems that each company used a different color.
"Cockermouth, Keswick & Penrith Railway" 4 p blue,
still on letter (image obtained from a Grosvenor auction).
Dundee and Arbroath Joint Railway.
Dumbarton & Balloch Joint Line
Glasgow, Barrhead & Kimarnock Joint Railway (GB&K)
Glasgow and South Western Railway
("G.&S.W.RAILWAY.")
London Midland and Scottish Railway; one of the 'Great Four'
railways that were formed in 1923.
London & North Eastern Railway (L&NE)
Portpatrick & Wigtownshire Joint Railways (PP&W)
Very similar design from te "Great Northern of Scotland
Rly".
Other unified design with inscription "FEE FOR CONVEYANCE OF
SINGLE POST LETTERS BY RAILWAY" around the center circle,
