1868 Queen Victoria facing the right, so-called 'Large Queens'

  1/2 c black
  1 c brown
  2 c green
  3 c red
  6 c brown
  12 1/2 c blue
  15 c lilac

All values exist with perforation 12. The values 1/2 c and 15 c also exist with perforation 11 1/2 x 12.

Cancels, example:

Duplex cancel '5' of Hamilton

(Numeral cancel '8' of Ottawa, specialist distinghuish at least 7 different types of this cancel)

I've also seen the four-ring numeral cancel on these stamps.

These stamps are perforated 12, but some of them also exist with perforation 11 1/2 x 12.

Special cancels, an Ottawa crown cancel:

Other mute cancels exist in the shape of maple-leafs, flowers, crosses, stars etc, examples:

A "BRUXELLES MAN" (Manitoba) cancel.

Precancels on the 1 c value

Forgeries:

2 c in wrong color, red, with a very strange cancel.

A bogus '1' surcharge with two horizontal lines on the old value.

A 'Hechler bisect'; these were not allowed by the authorities, but somehow Hechler managed to 'get them through the mail'. They have a Halifax cancel (the hometown of Hechler).

These stamps were used on parcels.
