Fournier has made forgeries of these stamps, I have seen these forgeries only with the cancel 'LIBREVILLE 20 MAI 89' as in the next stamps, I therefore suspect them to be Fournier forgeries:
Fournier offers these 'vignettes' both for 1 Swiss Franc in his 1914 pricelist (as first choice forgeries).
Gabon stopped issuing its own stamps in 1891 and used the stamps of French Congo instead. Only in 1905 it re-issued its own stamps.
