In 1937 Gabon started using the stamps of French Equatorial Africa. Gabon became independent in August 1960.

A postage due stamp of the French Colonies used in Libreville Gabon in 1908.


Bisected postage due stamp with additional text "TAXE AVEC MOITIE DE 4c FAUTE DE 2c.", used in 1910.
