For the "CENTIMES" forgeries of this type, the last "E" of this word has a shorter upper horizontal stroke, but a longer central stroke. Also the "S" of this word is too squeezed. However, these characteristics are often hidden by overprints or cancels. The "RF" in the corners is also very badly done.
These forgeries have the cancel "CHAMBERY 2E/26 SEPT
72".
The same cancel on the first postage due issue of France.
A "5 FRANC" forgery (instead of "5 FRANCS"),
the "5" is also clearly different from a genuine stamp.
Also a 5 c and a 20 c forgery probably made by the same forger.
The word "CHIFFRE" is in thicker font, the
"S" of "POSTES" are different and in the 20 c
the "P" of "PERCEVOIR" is further away from
the "0" of "20" than in the genuine stamps.
Also, the accent on the "A" is placed strangely on all
values(?). The 30 c forgeries also have an accent on the
"A". Genuine 30 c stamps do not have such an accent
(all other values do though).
These forgeries with "GABON" overprints and misprints.
These misprints are listed in the 1906 Oneglia pricelist, I
therefore suspect them to have been made (or at least sold) by Oneglia.
Here all with the same cancel "NOUVELLE CALEDONIE 2E/26 FEVR
92" and a large triangle.
