These stamps in black on yellow, without surcharge, were issued in 1893 and exist for the towns of Buchanan, Grenville, Harper, Monrovia and Robertsport. All are RRR, except for the Monrovia type, which is RR.

Two types of this stamp (and the overprint) exist, type I with 10 white pearls above the word 'REPUBLIC LIBERIA' and type II with 13 white pearls above this word.
