Reprints:

Reprint or 'proof' from defaced plate with diagonal line across the design.

Private reprints of the 3 c from unknown origin exists as 'proofs' with a defaced plate. There is a diagonally line across the stamp in these reprints. They were made in black, scarlet and mauve. At the bottom of the mini-sheet, the name of the engraver 'D.Feldwick Engr & Desigr 16. Holborn, E.C.' is written. Similar reprints exist for the 1860 stamps.

Forgeries

A 3 c red seems to be a forgery according to 'The forged stamps of all countries' by J.Dorn (other sources say this is an essay):

(3 c red forgery or essay)

The genuine 3 c black stamps are perforated 10 1/2. Forgeries exist in perforation 11 1/2, 12 and 14 (source: http://www.liberianphilately.com/wiki:1881inland).

Forgery of the 3 c value.

A forgery of the 32 c value. The perforation is 'cut out' and the design is slightly different from a genuine stamp.
