Parcel Stamps

1899 Inscription "COLIS POSTAL"

These stamps have a similar design as the parcel stamps issued for France. The inscription is in the same colour as the colour of the stamp
Three types exist:
"I APPORT A LA GARE": 25 c blue on blue (two types with slightly different lettering),
"II VALEUR DECLAREE": 10 c black on yellow, 10 c black and 15 c black
"III LIVRAISON PAR EXPRES": 25 c lilac, 25 c brown and 60 c brown.

Some of these stamps have overprint "CONTROLE REPARTITEUR" (1921-1926). A surcharged stamp "65 c" on 60 c brown also exists (1927). I've seen the 15 c printed tete-beche. These stamps were issued from 1899 to 1926.
