Exile stamps

Labels issued for the government of Montenegro in exile in Bordeaux (France) during World War I, inscription 'S.P. du M. Bordeaux':

These stamps were used as returned letter labels.

Another design exist with inscription 'MONTENEGRO (SERVICE DES POSTES EN FRANCE) RETOUR A L'ENVOYEUR LE DESTINATAIRE N'AYANT PU ETRE TOUCHE' with the arms of Montenegro at the left hand side (sorry, no picture available yet).

Stamps of France were also overprinted with 'S.P. du M. Bordeaux' (11 values, ranging from 5 c to 1 F), they are all very rare.

These fiscal stamps exist overprinted ' K. u. k. Militar- Verwaltung in Montenegro', issued during World War I under Austrian occupation. I believe that the following values exist: 1 pa brown, 2 pa green, 3 pa blue, 4 pa green, 5 pa green, 8 pa violet, 9 pa brown, 10 pa orange, 20 pa lilac, 30 pa red and 40 pa violet, 50 pa brown and 70 pa green (value and overprint in black on both stamps). The values 1 pa, 2 pa, 3 pa, 4 pa, 8 pa and 9 pa all have identical design, the other values have a slightly different design.

I've seen the 5 pa value with additional violet overprint 'SHQIPENIE'.

Kotor is a city located in a bay in Montenegro.

Some unissued stamps exist with inscription 'BOKA KOTORSKA'. I have seen the values 15 p brown, 50 p blue and 80 p red. The designs are all slightly different; sheep herdess for the 15 p, soldier for the 50 p and wine farmer woman for the 80 p.
