These stamps have a zig-zag perforation. The first issue was engraved (1911), later on (1912) these stamps appeared lithographed. The size of the litographed stamps is slightly larger than the engraved ones.

Stamps with Arabic overprint were issued in Thrace:

30 l stamp with rural cancel with posthorn.

Overprinted 'ELLHNIKH DIOIKHSIS' (in greek, 1912) to be used in the occupied turkish territories, overprint in red or black
