1902 King Edward

  1/2 p lilac and green

  5 Sh green and blue

For the specialist: the values 2 p, 1 Sh, 5 Sh and 1 Pound have the value shield open, the other values have the value on a lined background. These stamps have watermark 'CA Crown' or 'Multiple CA Crown' and perforation 14.

A Madame Joseph forgery (forged cancel applied to a fiscally used stamp?)

1907 Arms of St.Vincent, small size, "St.Vincent" in coloured letters, "POSTAGE & REVENUE" below design

These stamps have watermark 'Multiple CA Crown' and perforation 14.

1909 As previous issue, but with "St.VINCENT" in white, "PAX ET JUSTITIA" below design

These stamps have watermark 'Multiple CA Crown' or 'Multiple Script CA Crown' and perforation 14. For the specialist: the 1 p and 6 p stamps exist with or without dot below the 'd'.

A curious Hialeah forgery exists of the 5 Sh value, where the value is indicated as "5s" instead of "5/-" (see http://www.freewebs.com/dvstampclub/Pm0410.pdf).

Overprinted 'WAR STAMP'

  1 p red (1916, 2 main types)

These stamps have watermark 'Multiple CA Crown' or 'Multiple Script CA Crown' and perforation 14. For the specialist: of the "WAR STAMP" overprint in one line 3 subtypes exist: the distance between "WAR" and "STAMP" can be 2-2 1/2 mm, 1 1/2 mm or 3 1/2 mm. The overprint in two lines exists with "WAR" fat and "WAR" thin. Be careful, forgeries exist of these overprints!

1935 Silver Jubilee of King George V, inscription "1910-1935"

A 1 p red and black, 1 1/2 p grey and blue, 2 1/2 p blue and brown and 1 Sh lilac and black were issued in a design identical to many other British colonies (Windsor castle).

1937 Inscription "12th MAY 1937" portrait of King and Queen

The values 1 p violet, 1 1/2 p red and 2 1/2 p blue were issued (design identical to that of many other British colonies).

1940-45(?) War propaganda forgery

Some stamps were issued by the Germans, resembling the design of the 1937 Great Britain King George VI, with "LIQUIDATION OF EMPIRE St.VINCENT" printed on it. These forgeries exist for many other colonies as well.

1946 Victory issue, identical to sets issued in many other British colonies, inscription "8th JUNE 1946"

Apparently, the original 1 Pound stamp was printed in black, but the whole stock disappeared and was reprinted in a different color.
