The following genuine stamps have a forged cancel (ST HELENA 30 OCT. 36), I don't know who made them. Images obtained thanks to Robert.W. Richardson:
(Forged cancels)
There also exist some so-called Hialeah forgeries (I have seen the values: 7 Sh 6 p, 10 Sh in sheets of 6x7). They are computer generated; scanned from genuine stamps and then printed in sheets, the smaller details of the design are lost in this way. I have only seen them in imperforate condition. These forgeries are not very dangerous, but I thought it would be useful to mention them here.
A 7 Sh 6 p stamp with a forged 'ST HELENA A DE 18 27' cancel.
I've also seen a 15 Sh stamp with the same forged cancel. These
cancels were probably applied after removing the fiscal cancel.
