In 1928 a new set of postage due stamps was issued (4 c, 6 c, 8 c, 10 c, 12 c, 16 c and 20 c; all in the colour red)

Fiscal Stamps

GIRO

In 1898 the Giro fiscal stamps of the Spanish Philippines were overprinted "U.S. INTERNAL REVENUE". In 1899 similar stamps were issued, but with inscription "UNITED STATES GIRO PHILIPPINE ISLANDS 1899", example:

In 1900 the year was changed from "1899" to "1900", while in 1901 the year was omitted altogether.

 

DOCUMENTARY

These small "DOCUMENTARY" stamps were first issued in 1905 (many values exist).

 

INTERNAL REVENUE

Internal Revenue stamps were first issued in 1899.

 

Other fiscal stamps exist, for example with inscription "SELLO".
