(A letter of Martinique from 1825 with cancel 'MARTINIAQUE' and 'COLONIES PAR BORDEAUX')
I've seen a similar letter to Rouen with cancel 'MARTINIQUE' and 'COLONIES PAR ROCHEFORT'.

Forgeries: Fournier has made forgeries of these stamps (inclusive the overprints), the easiest way to recognize them is by their perforation; the perforation is often imperfect, especially in the corners. Examples of these forgeries:

The '05' on 1 c and '10' on 2 c exist with a small zero variety: the '0' is printed smaller, example:

I have seen this small zero variety printed next to a normal stamp.

All these stamps are perforated 14 x 13 1/2.
The next stamps to be issued in Martinique appeared in 1931 (colonial exhibition), a new permanent serie appeared in 1933.

The following values were prepared: 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 10c, 15c, 20c, 30c, 40c, 60c, all in black, and 1F, 2F and 5 F in brown. The overprint is always in red, it can be from the upper left to lower right corner or lower left to upper right corner.
