The values 3 c, 6 c, 10 c and 40 c exist with overprint 'VIET-NAM DAN CHU CONG HOA Buu Chinh' in black or red (in red on 10 c and 40 c), for use in Vietnam. Also the overprint 'VIET-NAM DOC-LAP TU-DO HANH-PHUC BUU-CHINH' exists on the 1 c value.

Laos used the stamps of French Indo China until 1951. It then issued its own stamps with inscription 'Union Francaise ROYAUME de LAOS'. In 1958 the inscription was changed to 'ROYAUME DE LAOS' or 'POSTES LAO'.
