A postcard ('KORRESPONDENZKARTE') with a 2 p blue printed image similar to the stamps above exists with at the backside an image of Emperor Wilhelm I with the text 'Zur Erinnerung an die 100-jahrige Geburtstagfeier weiland Sr. Maj. Kaiser Wilhelm I'. A reprint of this postcard was made by Michel in 1981 ('MICHEL-Nachdruck zur "Philatelia 81" in Frankfurt am Main vom 14.-18. November').
