Forgeries, example:

In the above forgery, the perforation is wrong (these stamps should be perforated 14).
Other forgeries (including overprints) can be found in 'The Fournier album of philatelic forgeries'. These forgeries have the the period after 'DIS.' significantly larger than the period after 'REP.'. They also are unwatermarked.

In 1923 a new express stamp was issued (60 c red, with 5 c surcharge for the red cross), in 1929 two new values were issued 1.25 L green and 2.50 L blue.

The green stamps were re-issued in brown in 1924 and in blue in 1925. The brown stamps (Lire values) were re-issued in green in 1924 and in orange in 1925. Some surcharges in silver were issued in 1931, example:
