The "TIMOR" overprint exists on the stamps of the wrong country, the 10 r value of Mozambique (R) and Portuguese India (RR) instead of Macao.

Fancy cancel.

"CORREIO TIMOR" cancels, with "TIMOR" in fancy letters.

Normal "CORREIO TIMOR" cancels.

Reprints:

Reprints exist, example:

(Reprint of 1885, reduced size)

I have seen reprints of the 40 r and 100 r values with additional overprint 'PROVA'. Value of the reprints: c to *.

Forgeries:

Fournier forgery of a non-issued 50 r green stamp

The forger Fournier made forgeries of these stamps, using forged basic stamps of Macao and applying a forged overprint. For a description of these forgeries, see under the description of the forgeries, see: 'Portuguese Colonies, Crown issue'. Fournier seems to have used the cancel "CORREIO 12 NOV. 85 DILLY" on many of his forgeries (uncancelled forgeries also exist).

The forged cancel "CORREIO 12 NOV. 85 DILLY" can be found in the Fournier Album. Here with a forged cancel from Spanish Morocco and one from Portuguese Guinea.

Fournier even seems to have made forgeries of the error Timor stamps printed on Portuguese India stamps:
