5 F R R Variety with slanting overprint 'S.P.': RRR

Forgeries exist, example:

Fournier forgeries of the 5 F stamp, left without and right with 'S.P.' overprint, both with forged '* JUNGLINSTER * 13/12 87 6-7M.' cancel

Unfinished imperforate Fournier forgery as taken from a Fournier Album of Philatelic Forgeries.

The forger Fournier has also made a forgery of the 5 F stamp. The Junglinster cancel was actually listed under Austria in 'The Fournier Album of Philatelic Forgeries'. It looks like the right hand side figure has an 'A' next to it foot, which is supposed to be a wing(?) in the genuine stamps.

Fournier cancels listed under Austria, with the 'JUNGLINSTER 13/12 87 6-7 M.' cancel, reduced sizes

I've also seen the 5 F Fournier forgery (without 'S.P.' overprint) with cancel '* WILTZ * 3/6 83 2-3S' in a single circle (as can be found in the Fournier Album of Philatelic Forgeries).

Fournier forged cancels, the dates of some cancels were apparently added later (Wiltz and Echternach etc.)

The Serrane guide lists another dangerous forgery of the 5 F value.
