Many of these stamps exist with inverted or even double (one inverted and one in the right position). Misprints (8 c on 15 c, 40 c on 50 c) exist.

Postage due stamps of Italy with lines through the value, overprinted 'TIENTSIN' in the values 4 c on 10 c, 8 c on 20 c, 12 c on 30 c and 16 c on 40 were prepared but not issued (similar to the 'PECHINO' issues).
