1882 Revenue stamps, inscription 'XAPTOSHMON ELLHNIKON PROXENIKHS YPHRESIAS'

These stamps exist in blue, green and red in many values; 1 l, 2 l, 3 l, 4 l ,5 l, 6 l, 7 l, 8 l, 9 l, 10 l, 20 l, 30 l, 40 l, 50 l, 60 l, 70 l, 80 l, 90 l, 1 D, 2 D, 3 D, 4 D, 5 D, 6 D, 7 D, 8 D, 9 D, 10 D, 20 D, 30 D, 40 D, 50 D, 60 D, 70 D and 80 D.

Inscription 'ELLHNIKH DHMOKRATIA KINHTON EPISHMA D.O.E.'

I have seen the values: 10 l, 1D, 2 D, 4 D and 5 D, all in green colour with black value inscription.

Inscription 'BASILeION eLLADOS PROSOETA TELH'

I have seen the values: 10 l, 20 l, 30 l, 50 l, 1 D and 50 D, all in the colour green (probably more values exist).

Some fiscal stamps for matches were also issued in Greece, they have inscription 'PYPEIA' with a head facing the right; the values 5 l blue, 5 l red (slightly different type) and 10 l black exists. Sorry, no pictures available yet.

Other fiscal stamps for documents were also issued from 1873 onwards, they have the inscription 'AXIAS' or 'TAXEWS'. Several designs exist. In 1888 some fiscal stamps were issued with the text 'XAPTOSHMON'.

There exist more fiscal stamps of Greece.
