The forger Fournier made forged "Colonia Etritrea" overprints on at least the 1 c olive stamp and 2 c brown (arms) stamp. The following forged cancels were used by Fournier "MASSAUA 7 2 98 * ERITREA *" and "MASSAUA 7 5 98 * (ERITREA) *".

Fournier forgeries as taken from a Fournier Album. The stamps are genuine, the overprints are forged.

The forger Fournier made forged "Colonia Etritrea" overprints. The following forged cancels were used by Fournier "MASSAUA 7 2 98 * ERITREA *" and "MASSAUA 7 5 98 * (ERITREA) *".

Fournier forgeries as they can be found in the Fournier Album.

The 45 c Fournier forgery shown above has the forged cancel "MASSAUA 7 5 98 * (ERITREA) *".

It looks like this stamp has a previous cancel erased and perhaps a forged "COLONIA ERITREA" and forged cancel applied to it?
