Inverted center RRR RRR  

Forged inverted stamps exist. For example the forger R.P.H.Wolle made forgeries of the 2 c inverted stamp (source: The London Philatelist Vol 13, 1904, page 98, which quotes the 'Boston Herald' of March 14). Wolle erased the central part of a genuine stamp and paste an inverted center of another stamp in its place. He then sold several hundreds of them for US$150 each.
