Overprinted 'MALAYA BORNEO EXHIBITION'

Various stamps (11) exist with this overprint (1922). This overprint is more or less a private one.


A cancel with "BRITISH EMPIRE EXHIBITION 1922" on a 5 c stamp.


"SEPOY LINES SINGAPORE" and "NEWTON SINGAPORE"

Some postage stamps used as fiscal stamps, cancelled with a large red seal with a crown in the center indicating the value once more, the date is also indicated in this seal '11-10-24' on the left and '7-6-21' on the right hand side.

Not sure what this "S.M.C." overprint was used for.


Large "BMA MALAYA" overprint on larger fiscal stamp of 100 $ blue and lilac in a similar design, another stamp 25 $ brown and red exists with this "BMA MALAYA" overprint.


A postal forgery of the 50 c (left and middle), together with a genuine 50 c (right). The forgery was made by colouring a genuine1 c black with green dye and repainting the figure of value (thus replacing '1 c' by '50 c'). This forgery can also be found in the book 'Postal Forgeries of the World' by H.G. Leslie Fletcher.
