5 Sh stamp with fiscal 'CUSTOMS' cancel
5 Sh with a numeral "2" cancel.
The inverted and/or double overprints of the "ONE HALF PENNY" on 1 p red are forgeries, example:
The 'H' of 'HALF' should be exactly above the 'NN' of 'PENNY' in
the genuine stamps (Album Weeds).
(I've been told that this stamp has a forged surcharge)
Forgery of the 5 Sh stamp? An illustration in La Gazette des
Timbres by Pierre Mahe shows the same 'forgery' (broken frame
below "FIVE", lettering and face of Queen different);
see next image.
Some kind of cut from a German publication (judging from the text
on the back).
A strange 1/2 p green. Not sure what this is, some kind of
advertisement stamp?
