In 1924 the leopard, woman and palm trees stamps of 1907 were overprinted 'AFRIQUE EQUATORIALE FRANCAISE'. For similar stamps, but with inscription 'CONGO FRANCAIS' see under French Congo.
In 1933 a new serie with inscription 'MOYEN CONGO' was issued (3 designs: bridge, Pasteur institute and Government building).
Postage due stamps were first issued in 1928 ('MOYEN-CONGO' on postage due stamps of France (11 values). In 1930 a new serie was issued with inscription 'MOYEN CONGO TIMBRE TAXE' (11 values).
