1848 Queen Victoria, inscription 'POST PAID'

For the specialist, there are 12 types of each of this stamp. Specialists distinghuish between early printing and printings from worn plates.

For the One Penny stamps:
Position 1: 'PENNY' smaller than in the other types.

Misprint 'PENOE' instead of 'PENCE':

Certified genuine

This misprint occurs in position 7 of the plate (consisting of 12 stamps: 3 x 4).


Strip of 3 stamps (Types 7, 8 and 9) with the Type 7 'O' error on the left.

For the 'TWO PENCE' stamps:
Position 1: 'CE' of 'PENCE are touching
Position 6: second 'E' of 'PENCE' very far from the right border
Position 7: 'PENOE' instead of 'PENCE'
Position 11: 'PENCE' in taller lettering
