'Pineapple' and 'CA Crown' watermark

For the specialist: these stamps exist with 4 types of watermark: in 1860 the values 1p blue, 2 p red, 3 p green, 4 p red, 6 p lilac, and 1 Sh brown were issued with watermark 'pineapple'. In 1872 this watermark was replaced by 'CC crown', the values 1/2 p red, 1 p blue, 2 p red, 3 p green, 4 p red, 6 p lilac, 1 Sh brown, 2 Sh brown and 5 Sh violet were issued. In 1883 the watermark 'CA crown' was introduced: the values 1/2 p green, 1 p blue, 1 p red, 2 p red, 2 p grey, 3 p green, 4 p red, 6 p yellow, 1 Sh brown, 2 Sh brown, 5 Sh violet were issued. In 1905 the watermark 'multiple CA crown' was used with 3 p green, 3 p lilac on yellow, 4 p brown, 4 p black on yellow, 4 p red on yellow, 6 p yellow, 6 p lilac, 1 Sh brown, 1 Sh black on green, 2 Sh brown, 2 Sh lilac on blue.
Most stamps are perforated 14, but the 2 Sh and 5 Sh also exist with perforation 12 1/2 (and watermark CC Crown).

These stamps exist with overprint "JUDICIAL", they are fiscal stamps.

'JUDICIAL' overprint

This overprint exists on the stamps: 3 p green, 6 p orange, 1 Sh brown, 2 Sh brown and 5 Sh lilac on blue.

Postal Stationary:

I've seen postal stationery in the design of the above stamps or similar designs: 1/2 p brown (design as stamp, but colour different), 1 p blue (as stamp), 1 1/2 p grey ("PENNY HALF PENNY", non issued as stamp), and "HALF-PENNY" surcharged in black on 1 p blue. A 3 p green also exists.

Forgeries:

A very primitive forgery of the 1 p blue:

Note the "CORREOS 7.1.66 II-III" cancel

I have also seen this forgery with a very typical cancel, consisting of three concentric circles, filled up with six horizontal lines.

Some other forgeries exist, example of a 2 p red forgery:

Note the Spanish? "CORREOS 7.1.66 II-III" cancel on the first 2 p forgery (I've also seen a 4 p forgery with such a cancel). The face of the Queen is very white on this primitive forgery.

I have seen other forgeries with this "CORREOS" cancel; 4 p orange and 6 p lilac.

Forgery of the 2 p (first image reduced size) with a "853" cancel. The third forgery has a very small "C" in "JAMAICA". Note that this forged "853" cancel was also used on forgeries from Newfoundland and Jamaica.

Primitive imperforate 1 Sh forgery. Also exists perforated. Often it appears with a "408" cancel, which is usually only partly applied (i.e. only the "4" or "8" is visible).

Imperforate forgeries of the 4 p and 6 p lilac value. In both stamps, the lettering is very weak. I've seen the 4 p forgery with a clearer cancel "CORREOS 7.1.66 II-III". Next to it a perforated 6 p as with this "CORREOS" cancel.

With cancel "CORREOS 7.1.66 II-III". I've also seen this cancel on forgeries of the 1859 issue of Venezuela, the first issue of USA and some forgeries of Hanover, etc.

Forged 6 p stamp, the corner of the central design does not go down far enough when compared to a genuine stamp.

Other forgery of the 1 p stamp.

I've seen a forged surcharged stamps (sorry, no picture available). I'v also seen a forged double surcharge, this forgery seems to have the cancel "HALF-WAY TREE" (I do not know if they always have this cancel).
