These stamps, overprinted 'ILES WALLIS ET FUTUNA' were issued for Wallis and Futuna.
In the above ship-and-tree design 8 values were issued (1 c, 2 c, 4 c, 5 c, 10 c, 15 c, 20 c and 25 c). In the palm tree design the values 30 c, 40 c, 45 c, 50 c, 65 c, 75 c and 90 c. In the large ship design: 1 F, 1.10 F, 1.50 F, 2 F, 3 F, 5 F, 10 F and 20 F.

In 1928 a new serie was issued picturing a dear in a forest (13 values, ranging from 2 c to 3 F).
In 1926 some parcel stamps were issued, by overprinting postage stamps with 'Colis Postaux'. The following values were issued: 50 c on 5 F, 1 F, 2 F. In 1930 a second set was issued (printed on the stamps with the new design) in the values: 50 c, 1 F and 2 F.

In 1893 some stamps were issued for military use, they have a French flag in the design. These stamps were issued mainly for stamp collectors.Various designs in various colours exist.
