Forgeries:

The following stamp has a forged cancel (after the fiscal cancellation was removed), I have seen many copies with the cancel 'HAMILTON * 3 MAI.1937 * BERMUDA' (always the same date, see also: Forgeries idenfication site of Bill Claghorn: http://geocities.com/claghorn1p/). Note the wrong spelling of May: 'MAI'.

(Forged cancel)

The forger Raoul de Thuin forged the cancel 'HAMILTON 11 AM MY 17 1920 BERMUDA', presumably to be applied to stamps from which the fiscal cancel was removed. More info and images: "The Yucatan Affair: The Work Of Raoul Ch. de Thuin, Philatelic Counterfeiter", compiled by a specialist editorial staff, an American Philatelic Society handbook. issued in 1974. If anyone has an image of such a forgery, please contact me!
